Primary Assessment & Site Survey

Commercial or Private Use

Cessna Caravan Amphibian, all models, 675, 208B & EX.

Consult with an experienced professional who is not influenced by the aircraft industry or the float manufacturing industry.

My specialty is the initial site survey, and let's say a reality check for any specific use. Nobody knows if a project will work until a professional does an assessment who is experienced in the exact type of aircraft you would like to use. We will briefly explore operational aspects, political landscape, geographic, logistical, and basic crew requirements. The main focus will be on the perceived destinations and if the aircraft is suitable for them.

The Cessna Caravan Amphibian is well known by Engineers and Civil Aviation Departments around the world and the easiest commercial seaplane in use to certify. It can transport up to seven, 180lb passengers with luggage up to 135km and return without refueling.

It is regularly used for VIP transport, Mining, Gas & Oil projects and is considered a starter aircraft when in use in high density settings.

In Asia, anywhere you plan to land and service in any body of water is considered an active Seadrome or Airport for that matter unlike the USA or Canada, and requires a sometimes lengthy approval process.

The information contained in this website is constantly reviewed (currently November 2023) to reflect current international aviation laws, costs, and applicable information. .

"Can't you just smell the money this seaplane has has found ? !" - Anonymous seaplane demonstration attendee.

Stepping off the Finished Raft at Havelock Island Andaman Islands, India. I ferried this aircraft from Juhu Airfield in Mumbai to Port Blair India via one stopover in Bubaneshwar. It was a two day trip with each leg around five hours along with a local pilot to speak the local lingo on the radio. I also assisted with building this beautiful raft for the destination at Havelock Island, a tourist area north of the main city..

Training the local guys in the Maldives on their 675hp Caravan Amphibian on 8750 floats. We were able to operate in calm glassy water with full tanks and five people on board..
